I began my doula work as a mom of 4 which taught me a little bit about how to navigate the birthing process especially in the hospital setting. At the suggestion of a homebirthing friend I decided I wanted to help other women through the processes of birth and breastfeeding. My training has included 2 Doula certifications and a postpartum certification starting in 2016. I obtained my Lactation certification in 2018 and have been working as a Licensed Massage Therapist since early 2018. I fully believe in the power of touch in our lives and have since added infant cranialsacral work and became a Spinning Babies(R) Aware Practitioner.
Specialties/Services Offered:
Birth Doula support, lactation support including infant cranialsacral and bodywork, prenatal and postpartum massage plus regular theraputic massage, Spinning Babies (R) Body balancing sessions for labor prep and encouraging breech babies to rotate. All prenatal and postpartum appoinments are done in office but I may be able to offer online video visits soon. Also hoping to offer Childbirth Education Classes in the future.
