I began my doula work as a mom of 4 which taught me a little bit about how to navigate the birthing process especially in the hospital setting. At the suggestion of a homebirthing friend I decided I wanted to help other women through the processes of birth and breastfeeding. My training has included 2 Doula certifications and a postpartum certification starting in 2016. I obtained my Lactation certification in 2018 and have been working as a Licensed Massage Therapist since early 2018.
Billie Brittany Ann
I became a doula because I believe everyone deserves nonjudgmental support and a sense of connection during major life transitions. I’ve been a doula for a decade, supporting families through birth, postpartum, and medically complex situations. As a queer doula, my work is deeply rooted in affirming care and creating spaces where all identities and family structures feel safe.
